Basic Christian Counseling
Basic Christian Counseling provides the student with an overview of the major standard therapeutic methods and draws a contrast between secular therapy and Christian counseling. Additionally, a copy of the book, The Search for Significance, is required reading for the course, for which the student must prepare a written assignment reflecting on insights gained from the reading.
The primary goal of this course is to teach the student effective counseling goals, techniques, and several other important topics, such issues the counselor may face in the course of counseling.
