Course Title: Counseling Children

Counseling Children teaches the student an understanding of the principles of childhood development. The course includes a textbook and workbook. In Counseling Children, Drs. Byrd and Warren provide instruction and encouragement to the Christian Counselor who seeks to minister to the developmental, emotional and spiritual needs of children.
The primary goal of this course is to teach students how to help approach issues of difficulty with children, to understand their development, and how to help them navigate challenges.
The required textbook and workbook are included in the price of the course, and will be shipped to the student.

NOTE: This course leads to Advanced Certification in Child & Adolescent Therapy if the student completes courses CC205, CC206, CC207 and CC208 in the Christian Counseling degree program.
