The National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA) was founded and established by Drs. Richard & Phyllis Arno. After several years of ministry work, the Arnos established the NCCA as a non-profit organization to conduct research and develop a therapeutic procedure based on Scripture. Per the NCCA, the organization was established to accomplish three essential goals:
- Enable the candidate to learn the system easily and relatively quickly
- Save pastors and Christian counselors precious time in counseling sessions
- Produce effective, positive, and more immediate results with those being counseled.
Drs. Arno developed the system over seven years through systematic research with more than 5,000 people. Their clients sought help for depression, inter/intra-personal conflict, marriage and family dysfunctions, and anxiety.
The National Christian Counselors Association has become one of the largest educational and training associations of Christian counselors in the world. The staff, members and supporters of the NCCA are committed to helping Christians fulfill the calling God has placed on their life.
